Jeanene Spencer, Office Adminstrator

I am originally from the Big Island of Hawaii. My family and I are very fortunate to call The Woodlands our home. Being part of the Woodlands Family Dental team has been a blessing. Working with Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop, with there willingness to teach and compassion for their patients is a wonderful thing to be a part of. In my spare time I love to spend time with my two children and Husband. I enjoy spontaneity, cooking, traveling and scuba diving.

Alyssa Murphey, Creative Director

I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations. Working at Woodlands Family Dental with Dr. Murphey and the team has been a blessing and a true joy! I love being able to interact with patients on a daily basis and help make their experience special. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and family! I enjoy being on the water and going boating, traveling, bible study & shopping!

Jackie Meza, Patient Relations (RDA)

I truly enjoy working for Woodlands Family Dental.  Dr. Murphey’s sincerity for his patients and staff is what makes him such a great dentist.  I have been working in the dental field for just over 6 years. I just received my RDA from the Texas Academy of General Dentistry and currently going to school to be a dental hygienist. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and being surrounded by family and friends, being out on the lake, playing sports and reading!

Veronica Meza, Adminstrative Assistant

I was born and raised in Houston.  Hablo español y me encanta ayuda la gente sentir bienvenidos y comodos en nuestra oficina. I am grateful to work at Woodlands Family Dental with Dr. Murphey and the team. They are wonderful and care for our patients just as they were family. Working here has been amazing and a blessing. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Miranda Lyn Norvell, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

I have an Associate in Applied Science, Dental Hygiene. I am a member of the Greater Houston Dental Hygienists’ Society, the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. My favorite part about Woodlands Family Dental is that we use the latest technology to provide more comfortable dental experiences for our patients, and there are many opportunities to learn new things. In my personal life, I enjoy sewing, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Meredith Stashick, Registered Dental Hygientist (RDH)

I grew up in East Tennessee and received my bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the University of Tennessee. Since graduation in May 2006, I have thoroughly enjoyed the career path I have chosen. I love to take care of people by listening, educating and providing them with the best possible dental hygiene services. I am fortunate to work at Woodlands Family Dental where we only use the latest technology and strive to provide the most relaxed, caring and comfortable dental experience possible. Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop’s drive is truly remarkable! In my free time I love spending with with my wonderful husband, cooking, traveling and being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family! 

Miranda Lucas, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant for the last four years and enjoy working with the Woodlands Family Team! Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop are both extraordinary dentists to work with and provide the best dental care on all levels, to their patients. The team truly cares for the patients like they are family. I feel at home here and could not be more excited to be a part of this beautiful place. Besides working with this great team, I am a mom to two wonderful children and a wife to my fire fighting husband. My family and working in dentistry are two great passions in my life.

Donna Calhoun, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

I assist with all dental cleaning and hygiene visits! I graduated from Houston Dental Assisting School in December 2010 and feel incredibly blessed to have started my RDA career at Woodlands Family Dental.   Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop are not only the most sincere doctors I have ever met, but their passion and abilities for the art of dentistry set them apart from the rest. It is incredibly rewarding to work with such talented doctors, and to witness their kindness and empathy for our patients on a daily basis. Our beautiful office and the tender hearts of our gifted team are just the beginning of what we have to offer at Woodlands Family Dental. I am immensely grateful to be a part of something so special. Aside from working with such wonderful people, my passions include home decor, painting, reading, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

Kelli Anthony, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

I was born and raised in The Woodlands and graduated from Houston Dental Assistant School in September 2009. I absolutely enjoy this industry because we get to see first hand the happiness and excitement of our patients faces when we restore their beautiful smile. It is truly a gift to be able to impact people that way and I am so grateful I get to witness that everyday. Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop are extremley talented doctors and it is a great honor to get to work with them. Our office offers the best in dentistry from our staff to the latest technology. I love being a part of our family. Outside the office I love spending time with my husband and our families, fishing, traveling, bar-b-quing, going to church, and having fun in the sun! God has truly blessed my life and I am so very grateful!

Aaron Brown, Intern

I do whatever necessary to take care of the team and make our patients happy! I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but raised in The Woodlands, Texas from the age of 8. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Sciene degree in neurobiology, Pre-Dental . Currently, I will begin dental school with the 2012 entry year. I am very grateful for the opportunity and experience that Dr. Murphey has provided for me in working at Woodlands Family Dental. It is a privilege to learn from Dr. Murphey and Dr. Lathrop, who show the upmost professionalism in providing exceptional dental care. During my free time I enjoy playing soccer and hanging out with friends and family!
